Radio 3 World Routes
Lucy Duran of Radio 3’s World Routes visited Bella
at her home in Edale and recorded a half an hour special of songs
and interview with Bella and Chris Sherburn. The show will go out
on Saturday 19th July at 3pm.
Royal Albert Hall Folk Proms!
Bella will be down at the Proms Folk Day at the Royal Albert Hall
on Sunday 20th July, performing unaccompanied songs in the afternoon
(prom 4) and with Chris Sherburn and Corrina Hewat in the evening
(prom 5).
The evening concert also features Martin Simpson and Bellowhead. Tickets are available from the proms website www.bbc.co.uk/proms/2008 - both shows will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, and the evening show will be televised on BBC Four.
WOMAD
Bella will be calling into WOMAD to perform a showcase in The Speakeasy
on Saturday 26th July.
MOJO Magazine: **** rating and Top Ten Folk Album 2007
Night Visiting has received the 4 Star rating of 'Brilliant' from MOJO music magazine in its current issue (February).
In last month's MOJO, Night Visiting was listed as one of the Top Ten Folk Albums of 2007!
fRoots magazine also named the album as runner up for New Album of 2007, making it a runner up for the BBC Radio 3 World Music Album of the Year nominations!
BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Nominations!
Bella has been nominated in two categories for this year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards; The Horizon Award (for best newcomer) and Best Original Song for Three Black Feathers!
The nominations were announced on the Mike Harding Show on Wednesday
21st of November, and the Awards ceremony will take place in February

Emerging Music
Great news from the Bella Hardy camp! After a trip down to see Ken
and Sue Bradburn in Devon last week, Bella is now represented by
their agency Emerging Music! Ken and Sue are the
agents behind many fantastic acts such as Nancy Kerr & James
Fagan, Cathy Ryan, Niamh Parsons, and the wonderful Kristina Olson
